Shivalik Public School

Shivalik Public School is located on Rajpura Road in Patiala. This is a fairly busy part of town, and the school is a familiar landmark for people living nearby. We have a decent-sized campus here. It’s not brand new, so it has that lived-in feel that comes with years of students running through the halls. We spend our mornings greeting the kids at the entrance. Patiala has a certain pace to it, and we try to match that. Our classrooms are simple and functional. We don't have fancy glass walls or high-tech gadgets in every corner. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and teachers doing their jobs. We have a playground where the grass gets a bit brown in the summer, but the kids don't seem to care when they are playing. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups, which is how you know people are actually working. We are right here in the 147001 area, easy to find. Parents often drop by to ask about their kids or to pay fees at the small counter we have. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look, as long as the teaching gets done and the children are safe. It’s a practical environment for learning. After the final bell, the road outside gets crowded with rickshaws and cars, and then we start tidying up for the next morning.
