Sacred Heart School

If you head out towards Bharonpur in Patiala, you’ll find Sacred Heart School sitting right there on Bharionpur Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main center of town, which makes it a little quieter than some of the other schools around here. We like that about the place. The air feels a bit fresher and there’s more room to breathe. The school building is a big, solid structure that’s seen a lot of students pass through its doors. We spend a lot of our time making sure the place is kept up, which is a never-ending job with a building this size. The gardens need watering, the floors need sweeping, and there’s always a window that won’t shut quite right. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish or big marketing budgets. Instead, we have teachers who actually know the names of the kids and their parents. In the winter, the mornings are foggy and quiet until the buses arrive and the whole place wakes up. Then it’s just the usual school day—bells ringing, chalk on boards, and kids playing during the lunch break. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just a local school doing what we’ve always done.
