Modern Senior Secondary School

We are located on G D N S Road in Patiala. This school has been around for a long time, and you can see it in the way the stairs have worn down over the years. It is a busy street, so there is always a lot of honking and noise from the rickshaws outside. We start the day quite early, around seven-thirty, and the first thing I do is check if the gatekeeper has cleaned the front area. The building is a simple concrete structure with a few trees that provide some shade in the afternoons. Inside, the rooms are filled with old wooden desks and blackboards that we still use. We don't have any of those fancy digital screens you see in the big city schools. It is just teachers talking and kids writing in their notebooks. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise that we never get around to fixing, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We spend our time making sure the registers are updated and the kids don't get too rowdy during their lunch break. Most of the families in this part of Patiala know us, and we have seen siblings come through here one after the other. It is a basic place where we just focus on the daily lessons. There is nothing fancy about how we do things here, we just keep the doors open and follow the routine every single day.
