Premier Public School

Our school, Premier Public School, is located on the Patiala-Samana Road. We are quite close to the toll barrier in the Chupki area. Because we’re a bit out of the main city center, it’s a bit different than the schools right in the middle of Patiala. We actually have a good amount of space here, which is nice for the students when they want to run around. You can see the traffic passing by on the road to Samana, but it’s far enough away that it doesn’t bother us too much during class. We have students coming from the nearby villages and the outskirts of the city. The staff here mostly focuses on the day-to-day teaching. We have a mix of ages, from the little kids in primary to the older ones in the higher grades. The building is practical and has enough rooms for all the different classes we run. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with the windows open for a breeze during the summer months. It's a very straightforward place. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that; it's just a local school doing its best for the kids in this area. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the building maintenance and all the paperwork, but we’ve been doing it for a while now at this spot near the toll barrier. It’s just a normal part of life here.
