Narain Smart School

Narain Smart School is right in the heart of Patiala, specifically in the Achar Bazar area near Qila Chowk. If you know the city, you know how busy it gets around here. The school is surrounded by shops and the general bustle of the market. Khadar Bhander and the Samana Road are just around the corner, so there is never a quiet moment. The building itself is an older style, typical for this part of Patiala, and it has a lot of character even if the paint is peeling in some corners. The narrow streets around Achar Bazar make it a bit tricky for cars, so most of the students walk or come by rickshaw. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the sounds of the market coming through the windows. We have a lot of students packed into the building, and it can feel a bit tight during the morning assembly. We don't have a giant football field or anything, just a small courtyard where the children gather. The staff room is usually a mess of registers and old files. It’s a very traditional environment, even with the "smart school" name. We focus on the daily lessons and getting the students ready for their boards. The families around Bhanra and Qila Chowk have been sending their kids here for years, so it’s a very familiar part of the community. It’s just a busy school in a very busy part of town.
