Greenfields School

Greenfields School is out in the Patiala district, specifically between Sirhind and Patran. It’s a very rural setting, which means we are surrounded by a lot of open space and farmland. The air here feels a bit different than in the middle of Patiala city. Our school isn’t some high-tech facility with shiny gadgets everywhere. Instead, we have solid rooms, wooden desks, and a lot of outdoor space for the children to run around. It’s the kind of place where you might find some mud on the floors after a rainy morning because the kids have been playing outside. We’ve been operating here for a while, serving the families from the surrounding villages who need a local place for their children to study. The staff is local, and we often know the parents from the market or the neighborhood. There isn't any polished marketing going on; we just show up, open the gates, and get to work. During the harvest season, things get a bit quiet as some families are busy in the fields, but we keep the schedule going. We fix the leaks when it rains and try to keep the fans spinning when it’s ninety degrees out. It’s just a plain, honest school where we do our best to keep things orderly and make sure the kids are actually reading their books. It is a simple life but a good one for the people here.
