Inside, there are classrooms for all the different grades. Patiala is a place where people value their traditions, and we see that in the parents who come to talk to us. We have a small area in the back where the kids can play, though it isn't very large. The staff is a mix of older teachers who have been here for decades and some newer ones. We use the morning assembly to get everyone organized for the day. The noise from Jodian Road is always there in the background, but we don't mind it much. We have a room for records and a small space where we keep some extra books. We don't have any big corporate ties. It is just a group of people working together to run a school. Most of our students live within walking distance, so the school feels like a part of the neighborhood. We just go about our business every day, teaching the kids and following the curriculum.
