About Sree Sai Gayatri Granites – Building & Construction Material in Ongole
If you’re looking for us, we are right across from the Sivalayam Temple in Pernamitta. You can’t miss the temple, so it makes finding the yard pretty easy for most people. We are at Plot Number 2-45. It’s a busy area especially during festivals when the temple gets crowded. The yard is full of stone slabs most of the time. It’s heavy work, moving those around. We spend a lot of time out in the sun checking the stock. The dust is everywhere, that’s just part of working with granite. We’ve been in S.N. Padu mandal for a while now. Most days it’s just me and a couple of guys working the machines. We have a small office near the gate where we keep the books. It’s not very big, just enough space for a table and a couple of stools. People come by to look at the different colors and patterns of the stones. We don’t do much talking, mostly just showing them what we have on the ground. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay past dark to get them unloaded. It’s hard on the back, but we’re used to it. The temple bells ring in the morning and evening, which is a nice sound while we work. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the yard stays organized so we can find things when someone asks. We’ve lived here for years and we know the locals well.
