Avenir Granites

Out here on Konidena Road in Martur you will find Avenir Granites. Our address is 14-8-97 and we have been set up here in Konidena for some time now. It is a quiet enough area most of the time except when the big trucks are coming and going with the slabs. We work mostly with granite pieces. It is heavy work and we spend a lot of time outside or in the shed making sure everything is sized right for the customers. We are not a big corporation with lots of secretaries and fancy furniture. Usually it is just a few of us and maybe a driver or two hanging around waiting for a load. We know the local roads well and most of the people who live in this part of Martur. When someone needs granite for a project they usually just stop by the shop and we show them what we have in the back. The slabs are very heavy so we have to use the crane a lot. It is a simple life but we like working with our hands and the stone. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere including on our clothes but you get used to that after a week on the job. We have seen the road get much busier over the years but Konidena still feels like home to us. If you are driving down the road you can't really miss us because we have the slabs stacked up high.
