Karmet Rocks

We have our business, Karmet Rocks, set up right on Trunk Road in the Marati Palem area. It is a very busy road, which actually helps us since people see the stacks of stone as they are driving past. We have been in this location for a good while and have seen Marati Palem grow and change quite a bit. Our yard is usually packed with different types of rocks and slabs. We do not use any fancy or expensive equipment here; we mostly just rely on our own hands and some basic tools to get things organized. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and shifting things from one side of the yard to the other. We just try to make it through the week and get the orders out. We are certainly not a polished corporate business. Most days, we are just wearing our old work clothes and our boots are covered in stone dust. That is just the way it goes when you are working with rock all day long. The noise from the traffic on Trunk Road is constant, but we have reached a point where we do not even notice it anymore. We keep everything very simple. If a customer stops by, we show them what is in the yard and see if it works for them. We do not have any big slogans or missions. We just want to do an honest day of work and keep things moving along.
