Sathya Granites

Our shop, Sathya Granites, is at number 410 on Kurnool Road in Prakasam. It’s a straightforward place where we handle granite slabs all day long. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually try to get the heavy moving done early in the morning. We have a variety of stones, from the dark blacks to the lighter grey ones. People from all over Prakasam come by when they are putting in new floors or fixing their kitchens. We don’t do any big marketing, people just see the stones piled up as they drive down Kurnool Road and stop in. We talk to them about what they need and show them the different thicknesses we have in stock. The work is physically demanding and our hands are always rough from handling the edges of the stone. We have a few guys who help with the loading and the cutting. It’s just a normal local business where we try to stay busy and keep the yard organized. Sometimes we have scraps left over that people buy for small repairs. We’ve been at this location for years now, and the address is well known to the local builders. We just provide the material and let the stone speak for itself. It’s a quiet life here on the road, just selling granite and helping the neighbors with their building projects. We don't make it complicated.
