Shankar Granites

Shankar Granites is tucked away at 3-2-115 on an unnamed road over in Medarametla. It might be a bit hard to find if you aren't from around here, but once you see the stacks of granite, you know you've arrived. We started this shop because we saw everyone in the area needed decent stone for their houses. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our work and the slabs we have on display. Most days involve us water-washing the dust off the granite so the natural grain shows through for the customers. It's a lot of heavy lifting and we have to be careful not to chip the corners. We get all kinds of people coming in, some know exactly what they want and others need to look at every single slab we have. We don't mind either way. We stay open pretty late sometimes if a delivery is coming in or if someone needs to pick up their order after work. Medarametla is a small place, so we know most of our customers by name or at least who their family is. We keep the prices as low as we can because we know money doesn't come easy for people. It's just a regular yard with some stone and a few tools for cutting. We do our best to help people get their homes finished without a lot of trouble or expense.
