Om Shakthi Granites

We are set up in the IDA area on the first lane, right opposite the Vinaka Temple on Kurnool Road. It is a busy spot with trucks constantly moving in and out. Working with granite means our hands are usually dusty and our backs are a bit sore by the end of the shift. At Om Shakthi Granites, we keep a variety of stone slabs out in the open so people can see the patterns. The morning usually starts with a quick prayer at the temple across the road before we get the cranes moving. Moving these heavy stones is a slow process and you have to be careful every single time. We have seen a lot of changes on Kurnool Road over the years, with more shops opening up and the traffic getting heavier. We are just local people doing our best to provide slabs that look good and last long. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. People come in, they look at the granite, they ask the price, and we tell them. Sometimes we have a good laugh with the regulars who drop by for a chat. It can be a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at once, but we always manage to sort it out. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a desk where we do the paperwork. It is a long day every day, but we like it.
