Laskhmi Sai Granites

If you take the Nagrajpally Road out in Matur Mandal, you’ll find Laskhmi Sai Granites. We are located right in Nagrajpally, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main parts of Prakasham district. It’s a quiet area mostly, surrounded by open land and a few other local businesses. The granite blocks we have here are huge. They sit out in the yard under the sun, and we use the overhead cranes to move them around when it’s time to cut or load them. It’s loud work. When the saws are running, you can’t hear much else. We have a small group of workers from the nearby villages who have been with us for a long time. They know how to spot a flaw in the stone just by looking at it. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see our sign on the road. The dust from the granite covers the leaves on the trees nearby, giving everything a bit of a grey tint. We usually have some water running to keep the blades cool and the dust down. It’s a messy job, but seeing a rough block turn into a smooth slab is always something. We just keep our heads down and get the work done, one slab at a time.
