Lakshmi Balaji Granties

Our yard is located right near the Laxminarasimha Swamy Temple Colony in Budhavada. If you are familiar with Cheemakurti, you know this is the place for stone. Lakshmi Balaji Granties is basically a lot of heavy lifting and dust. We deal with granite all day long, and it is hard work. The blocks come in and we have to figure out how to get them moved and cut without any issues. It gets very hot out here, especially in the middle of the day when the sun reflects off the stone. We usually start our day very early before the heat becomes too much to handle. People coming from the temple often pass by and look at the slabs we have lined up. Some are looking for something for their home and others are just curious. We don't have a big office with air conditioning, just a small space where we sit and talk to customers. Sometimes the machinery acts up or a truck gets stuck, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. It is a messy job, but there is something satisfying about seeing a rough piece of rock turn into something smooth and shiny. We keep a close eye on the quality of what we get from the quarries because we live here and don't want to hear complaints later. It’s just how we do things every single day.
