Global Granites

Global Granites is based at 78/23 in the Industrial Estate over in Prakasam. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other businesses doing heavy work so it’s never really quiet around here. Our yard is filled with slabs of granite that come in from different places. It’s a lot of physical labor every single day and we have to be careful with how we stack everything so nothing gets damaged. The Prakasam heat can be tough especially when you are working around all that stone but we have our routine down. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy at 78/23. People who need to find us usually know the estate well enough to navigate the rows. The trucks arrive at all sorts of hours and we have to be ready to get them unloaded so they can get back on the road. It’s a practical setup with just the essential tools for handling stone. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing office work because the real business happens out in the yard with the granite. The floor is usually covered in scraps and dust but that’s the nature of the industry. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and the industrial estate is the right place for it. We’ve been at this address for a long time now.
