Devatha Granites

If you are looking for Devatha Granites, we are at 977/12 & 13 Chimakurthy. This part of the country is all about stone, and our yard is no different. We have these two plots that are constantly filled with granite in various stages of being finished. Some of it is just raw blocks that look like giant chunks of mountain, and some are polished up and ready for someone's home. The noise of the water saws is constant throughout the day, and it can be hard to hear yourself talk sometimes. We don't have any sales representatives or people in suits. We are just local folks who know how to work the stone. The plot numbers are important because there are so many yards in Chimakurthy that it’s easy to get lost. We focus on getting the slabs cut to the right thickness and making sure the polish is even. It’s not easy work, and the days are long, especially when we have a big order to get out. We eat our lunch in the shade of the granite stacks because it’s the coolest place to be. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or expensive brochures. We just put the stone out there and if someone likes it, we talk business. It’s a practical way to live, and it’s how we’ve always done it here in Chimakurthy.
