Amulya Granites

Our site is located at Survey Number 808 in Nakkabokkalapadu. It’s a village that falls under the Konidena area in the Ballikurava Mandal. It’s quite a mouthful of an address, but it’s where we do all our work in the Prakasam District. We deal in granites, and our yard is usually full of slabs waiting to be processed or moved out. The sun hits this part of the country pretty hard, so we spend a lot of time working in the heat. It’s a rugged environment, not like an office at all. There’s stone dust everywhere and the noise of the cutters is just something you get used to after the first week. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules; we’re just a group of people who know how to handle stone. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we don't need to talk much to get the job done. We just show up at Sy No 808 and get to it. The village of Nakkabokkalapadu is a quiet place otherwise, which makes the activity at our yard stand out a bit. We don't do any flashy marketing because our work speaks for itself when people see the stone. It is a basic setup, focused on the material and the machinery. We stay busy with the daily tasks of loading and unloading. It’s a tough job, but it’s what we know and we’re happy to be doing it here. It's our life.
