Xtra Labour Force

Down in Newbarrackpur, at Masunda Chanditala, that’s where you’ll find Xtra Labour Force. We’re out in the North 24 Parganas area, which is a bit different from the main city buzz. We deal with labor, plain and simple. It’s about getting people to the sites where they are needed. Whether it’s construction or factory work or whatever else comes up, we manage the workers. It’s a lot of early mornings and making sure everyone is where they should be. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in a clean suit all day. Things get dusty and it can be pretty loud. We’ve been operating out of 355 Masunda Chanditala for a while. We know the people around here and the businesses that need an extra hand. It’s honest work. We don't do a lot of talking about "visions" or anything like that. If a project needs twenty guys by Monday, we just try to make that happen. There are always challenges, like people not showing up or transport issues, but we deal with it. The neighborhood knows us, and we know the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward operation. We keep our records, talk to the foremen, and keep the wheels turning as best as we can. It’s what we do every day without much fuss. We just focus on the task in front of us and hope the weather stays clear for the workers.
