We are based out of 118 Pioneer Park in Barasat. That’s in the North 24 Pargana district of West Bengal, not too far from the main city but with its own pace. The office is located right near the park area, which is actually quite nice when you want to step out for a minute and get some fresh air. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we like the community here. Gcl is just a small operation where we handle our daily business tasks. It’s not a high-rise building with glass walls, just a regular place in a regular neighborhood. We have our desks, our files, and a kettle for tea, which is pretty much essential for us to get through the afternoon. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we don't have to deal with the massive commutes you see in Kolkata. It makes for a much more relaxed environment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy decor; we just focus on getting the work done correctly. People around Barasat know us and we often see the same faces walking by the window every day. It feels good to be a part of the local scene. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever projects are currently on the table. It’s honest work and we are happy to be doing it here in West Bengal, keeping things moving along.
