Our institute is set up at 67/68 Block A in Bangur Avenue, Kolkata. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re familiar with the north side of the city. We focus on training and development, which basically means we teach people new skills so they can do better in their jobs or find new ones. We have a couple of rooms set aside for classes and a small office area where we handle the admissions and the general day-to-day stuff. The building isn't new, and it has that lived-in feel that many places in Kolkata have. We have some computers for the students to use and plenty of books scattered around the desks. Sometimes the classes get a bit crowded, especially when we have a popular course running on the weekends. We try to keep things simple and just teach what people actually need to know for their work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually hear about us from their friends or family. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know how to handle the different problems that pop up, like when the projector doesn't want to start or a bulb flickers.
