Our office for Ica is located in Narayanpur village, which is part of the North 24 Paraganas district. If you are looking for us, you have to head towards Laxmipul. The pin code is 743234. It is a quiet area compared to the big cities in West Bengal, and we like it that way. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We have a simple building where we do our daily tasks. There is a lot of green around the office and you can hear the birds most of the morning. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you are coming from Kolkata, but the local trains and rickshaws make it manageable. Inside, the rooms are plain with basic wooden furniture and some old ceiling fans that click while they turn. We handle a lot of local paperwork and talk to people from the community who stop by. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just Ica, sitting out here in Narayanpur, doing what needs to be done every day. We keep the windows open for the breeze even if it brings in a bit of dust from the road. We have some old charts on the wall and a calendar that is usually a few days behind.
