United Nations

The United Nations office is located at 55 Lodhi Estate. It is a fairly quiet part of the city compared to the more crowded markets. The building is solid and has a bit of a serious feel to it, but inside, it’s just people sitting at desks doing their daily jobs. We have a lot of meetings here, and the hallways are often filled with the sound of people talking in different languages or rushing to get to a briefing on time. It is not a place with a lot of flash or luxury. The furniture is practical, and the walls are mostly covered with maps or charts that haven't been changed in a long time. There is a lot of reading and writing that happens within these walls. Sometimes the atmosphere feels a bit heavy because of the nature of the work, but there are also lighter moments in the break room over tea. The garden area outside is a nice place to sit for a few minutes when the weather isn't too hot. We have a mix of people working here, some who have been in these offices for decades and others who are just passing through for a few months. It's a busy place with a lot of moving parts, but at the end of the day, it's just an office where we try to keep things organized and moving forward according to the daily schedule we all follow.
