Sesi

We are located in the Central Board Of Irrigation And Power building, which most people just call the CBIP building, on Malcha Marg. It is a nice and quiet part of Chanakyapuri. Sesi has been operating out of this particular space for quite a long time now. We are not a big commercial shop or a business looking for a quick profit. We are more of a society where people who are interested in solar energy can come together and share ideas. It involves a lot of meetings, organizing various journals, and talking about new technology that might help people. The building itself is quite traditional and has that old-school government office feel to it. We don't have any flashy decorations or modern art on the walls. It is mostly books, technical papers, and old files stacked everywhere. We spend a lot of time responding to our members and trying to set up different workshops. It can be a bit slow sometimes with all the administrative tasks we have to handle, but we feel it is important work. Being in Chanakyapuri means it is very peaceful outside the window, which is a nice change from the rest of the busy city. We aren't looking to make a big name for ourselves; we are just here to keep the conversation about renewable energy going. It is a steady pace of work. Some days are just spent sorting through the mail and planning.
