Indian Oil Corportaion Ltd

I work on the 8th floor of the Indian Oil Bhavan, which is located at Number 1, Sri Aurobindo Marg in Yusuf Sarai. It’s a tall building and you get a pretty good view of the traffic crawling along the road below. Indian Oil is a huge organization, but up here on the 8th floor, it’s just our department trying to keep up with the daily tasks. The office is full of grey desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have been here since before I started. It feels very official, but it’s also just a place where we drink our morning tea and talk about the commute. Sri Aurobindo Marg is always packed, so getting here in the morning is usually the hardest part of the day. Once we’re inside, it’s all about reports, numbers, and making sure the operations are running smoothly. We don't have any of those modern bean bags or ping-pong tables you see in tech offices. It’s just a standard workspace with fluorescent lights and the hum of the air conditioning. We follow the rules and do our jobs. Most of us have been here for years, so we know each other's families and hobbies. It’s a steady kind of life. We handle a lot of paperwork because that is how things work in a place this size. It’s not flashy, but it is important, and we just get it done. It's just a regular office life in a big city.
