We spend a lot of time here at Uniline House in East of Kailash. Ramesh Market is right nearby so things get pretty loud during the day with all the traffic and people moving around. Most of us arrive around 9:30 or 10 depending on how bad the road is. We’ve been at 198/23 for a good while now and the office has that lived-in feel. It’s mostly about managing the power systems and making sure the orders go out when they should. Sometimes the courier guys are late and that’s a headache but we deal with it. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we keep the coffee machine running and try to stay on top of the paperwork. There’s a lot of equipment sitting around because that’s the nature of the energy business. People come in and out for meetings and we usually just grab lunch from one of the stalls around the corner if we didn't bring something from home. It’s a busy spot in South Delhi and there is always something to fix or a phone ringing. We don't really do the corporate jargon thing here. It’s just us working through the daily list. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but it works for what we do. We just focus on getting the Uniline Energy Systems stuff sorted for whoever needs it that day and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way back.
