The Energy And Resources Institute (Teri)

We've been here at the IHC Complex on Lodi Road for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, but we like being in this part of the city. Most days you’ll find us working on different projects related to the environment and how people use energy. It is not always easy work, but someone has to look into these things. We have a lot of people coming in and out, researchers mostly, just trying to figure out better ways to handle resources. The building itself is quite recognizable. We spend a lot of our time looking at data or sitting in meetings about sustainable stuff. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different departments we have going on. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything. We just focus on the research side of things. People know us for being around for a while. Usually, there’s a lot of paperwork and reports being written up. It gets pretty quiet when everyone is deep in their work. Sometimes we host events in the complex, which brings in a crowd. It’s just how things go here at Lodi Road. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. We stay busy with the local and global stuff too. It’s just a group of us trying to make sense of how resources are being used. Nothing too flashy, just regular work every day. We’ve got a small library and some nice spaces to sit, but mostly it's just desks and computers.
