We are located at 28/20 in East Punjabi Bagh, right here in New Delhi. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for some time now. At Sunurja Renewable Energy, we focus on things like solar and other ways to get power without burning so much coal. Delhi can get pretty polluted, so we feel like we’re doing something useful, even if it’s just one house or one building at a time. Our office is pretty casual. You might see some solar components lying around or stacks of paperwork on the chairs. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a laptop to help you. We talk to a lot of neighbors and local businesses about how they can switch over to better energy sources. It’s a lot of explaining how the panels work and what the costs look like. We don't use high-pressure sales tactics because we wouldn't like that ourselves. We’re just regular people who think renewable energy is a smart move for the future. Sometimes the Delhi heat makes the work on the roofs pretty tough, but our guys are used to it. We just want to do a good job and help people save some money on their bills while being a bit cleaner about it.
