Our place is T-9 over in Green Park Extension. It’s actually a pretty nice part of town, with lots of trees and little shops nearby. We’ve been based out of this office for quite some time now. It’s not a huge space, just a few rooms where we handle the petroleum business side of things. Most of the work involves talking to suppliers and checking prices on the computer. It’s mostly quiet in here except when the phones start ringing all at once. We don't have a lot of walk-in visitors, so the place stays fairly organized and calm. There is a small balcony where we keep some potted plants that I forget to water sometimes. You can see the street from there, and it’s usually busy with people going to the market. We have a guy who comes in every morning to clean and make tea for everyone. It’s a very routine kind of life here. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. Most of our contacts are people we’ve known for decades. It feels more like a family office than a big corporation. Sometimes we stay late when the market is moving fast, but usually, we’re out by six to head home. The furniture is a bit dated, heavy wooden desks that have been here since the start. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend the day and we like it that way.
