Our place is in the DSIDC Complex over in Okhla Phase-2. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how these industrial areas are. It’s always crowded with trucks and people moving crates around. We are on the first floor of building 85. It’s a bit of a climb if the stairs are blocked by boxes, which happens more often than we’d like. Shamasha India has been operating out of this unit for some time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the daily tasks to really worry about that. We have a mix of office space and a bit of storage for whatever materials we’re dealing with that week. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. Okhla gets pretty dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks before we start work. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a practical workspace where we can just focus on the job. Usually, there’s some music playing softly in the background while we work. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby because the food is actually pretty good. The atmosphere is just like any other business in this complex. We know our neighbors and we stick to our own routine. It’s a solid spot for what we do. Nothing flashy, just a group of people working together in Scheme 1.
