We are located in the Uppal Plaza over in the Jasola District Center. Being on the third floor, we have a decent view of the area, though we’re mostly looking at computer screens or stacks of blueprints. Renewable Energy Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd. is the name on the door, but we usually just call it the office. It’s a busy part of Delhi, so there’s always something happening outside. Inside, it’s mostly us trying to figure out how to get more renewable energy projects off the ground. It isn't always smooth sailing. There’s a lot of red tape and technical hurdles that pop up every day. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees; we’re just a bunch of us who want to see these projects through to the end. You won't find any slick marketing brochures here. We mostly have technical manuals and site maps. Some of our desks are a bit of a mess with old lunch containers and sticky notes. We work hard because the work is important, even if it feels a bit repetitive sometimes. We’ve been at this Jasola address for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s a decent place to work. We just try to be honest about what we can do and then we go out and do it. That’s about it for us.
