Rajani Power Group

You can find us on the 3rd floor of Ashirvad Apartment, which is at 140 in the DDA Flats area of Kondali, Mayur Vihar Phase-3. It’s an interesting spot because it’s basically an apartment building, but we’ve set up our power group operations here. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us fit. We have cables and testers scattered around the rooms. The view from the third floor lets us see the street below, which is usually packed with people and rickshaws. We deal with power issues and equipment, so there is always a bit of technical talk going on in the office. It isn’t a large corporate office with a big sign outside. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in the flats. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we are moving heavy stuff in the hallway, but we try to be quiet. We spend our time looking at circuit diagrams or talking to people about their electricity needs. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to make things work. We drink our coffee out of mismatched mugs and keep the files in stacks on the floor when the shelves get full. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra costs of a big fancy building. We just do the work and go home.
