R & B Imports & Exports

R & B Imports & Exports is based out of A-1/125 in Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than if we were in a big commercial hub. The office is basically a converted space that we’ve filled with desks and filing cabinets. We do a lot of import and export work, so there are always stacks of shipping documents and customs forms sitting around. The phone rings a lot at odd hours because we deal with people in different time zones. Sometimes I’m here late just to catch a call from someone on the other side of the world. Safdarjung Enclave is a nice part of Delhi, and there are some good parks nearby if you need to take a walk and clear your head. R & B Imports & Exports isn't a massive corporation; it’s just a small group of us trying to keep the goods moving across borders. We have a lot of tea and talk about the latest shipping rates or why a container is stuck somewhere. The office can get a bit messy when we have samples coming in, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have any fancy slogans or anything. We just do the paperwork and make the calls that need to be made to get things from point A to point B.
