K J Polymer

K J Polymer is located at I-2161 in the Dsidc Narela Industrial Area. It is a long way out for some people, but it is where all the actual manufacturing happens. The building is basically a large industrial shed with some small office space carved out in one corner. We work with different types of polymers and raw plastics. If you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of raw materials and the heat coming from the machines. It is a noisy place with the grinders and extruders running most of the time. We have a small crew of workers who know these machines inside out. We spend most of our day making sure the mixtures are right and the final products come out without any major flaws. It is not glamorous work at all. Our hands are usually dirty and we spend a lot of time standing on the concrete floor. Narela can be a very dusty place, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We have got piles of big bags filled with plastic pellets sitting everywhere. It is a bit of a maze to walk through sometimes. We try to stay organized, but in a place like this, things move fast and get messy. We have a small desk for the paperwork, but mostly we are out on the floor. It is a solid, working-class business.
