Azure Power India Pvt Limited

We’ve been based out of the Local Shopping Complex in Madangir for a while now. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy throughout the day. Azure Power India Pvt Limited is the name on the door, but to most of us, it’s just the place where we come to get the work done. The office isn’t anything too fancy, but it serves us well enough. Most mornings start with someone making a big pot of tea while we look over the schedules for the solar projects. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at maps of different sites where panels need to go. It can get a bit loud outside with the shoppers and traffic, but we’re used to it. The 8th unit here is where we keep all our files and where the planning happens. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the printer jams right when we need a permit printed, but we manage to fix it. People think solar energy is all high-tech and futuristic, but for us, it’s mostly about coordinating trucks, talking to contractors, and making sure the parts arrive where they are supposed to be. We aren’t trying to be some giant corporate entity that feels cold and distant. We’re just a group of people in Madangir trying to keep things moving. It’s decent work and the neighborhood has some good spots for lunch when we actually get a break.
