Aakriti Solar is tucked away in Janak Puri, specifically at D-1/24. It’s a residential part of the city, so it doesn't feel like a typical industrial office. We have taken over a portion of the building to run the business. It’s nice because it’s a bit quieter than the main markets, although finding a parking spot can be a challenge if you come at the wrong time. We’ve got solar panels on display and lots of technical gear sitting around in what used to be a living area. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we are preparing for a big installation and have boxes everywhere. The team is small, and we’ve all been working together for a long time now. We usually start the day with a quick chat about the schedule and some tea. Janak Puri is a good place to be based; the metro is close enough and there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite. We don't go for anything fancy like glass partitions or expensive carpets. The desks are mismatched and there are cables running along the floor, but it works for us. We focus more on making sure the solar setups actually work than on how the office looks to outsiders. It’s an honest, local business. We like the neighborhood and our neighbors seem to have gotten used to us moving big equipment in and out of the building.
