Utsav Caterers

Utsav Caterers is based out of Akshay Apartment on Plot 198 in the Surendra Nagar area of Nagpur. It’s not really a restaurant; it’s more of a hub where we get everything ready for the events we handle. Our space is usually filled with the sound of large burners and the clanking of heavy stainless steel pots. You’ll often find us prepping vegetables or checking the inventory of plates and cutlery. Nagpur can get incredibly hot, so the kitchen area is always a bit of a challenge to stay cool in. We started small, just helping out with local gatherings, and it grew into this daily operation. We don’t have a big sales team; it’s mostly family and a few regular helpers who know the recipes by heart. There’s always a list on the wall of upcoming weddings or parties that we need to prepare for. We spend a lot of time sourcing fresh ingredients from the local markets nearby. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow lanes of Surendra Nagar, but we always find a way to make it work. We aren't about fancy presentations or gourmet trends. We just cook the food people like to eat at their celebrations. It’s hard work, standing for hours and making sure the spice levels are just right, but it feels good when a job is done.
