Harjeet Designers And Associates is based out of Shree Hari Nagar No. 2 in the Manewada area of Nagpur. Specifically, we are at 78-B, which is easy enough to find once you get into the neighborhood. The office is run by Harjeet and the rest of us. It is more of a practical workspace than anything else. We spend a lot of time drawing things up and looking at designs on the table. Manewada is a growing part of the city and we like being here because it feels like a real community. The office itself is simple. We have our tables, some chairs, and plenty of paper and pens lying around everywhere. It’s not the kind of place where everything is perfectly tucked away because we are usually in the middle of a project. We talk to people about what they want and then we try to put it on paper. It is hard work sometimes and the hours can get long but we don't mind it. We aren't interested in sounding like a big company. We are just local people who know how to design stuff. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We usually have some tea and get through the morning emails before the real work starts. It’s a bit noisy when the street gets busy but inside we just focus on the drawings. That is how we have always done things here, without any fancy talk or complicated processes.
