Amit Shirpurkar Architects And Associates is located in the Glaxy Mersh Complex. We’re in Block No 7 on the Cement Road in Pratap Nagar. If you’re coming from Mate Chowk, we are quite close. The building is right above Prakash Opticals and near the Durga Devi Temple. It’s a busy area of Nagpur with plenty of people moving around. Our office is full of drawings and rolls of paper. It’s where we sit down to figure out how things should be built. We don’t have a lobby with a receptionist sitting there all day. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk when the door opens. We’ve been working out of this space for a while. The location is good because it’s easy to explain to people. Just look for the temple or the optical shop. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in the city. We just want to do our work and do it right. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with samples of bricks or tiles, but that’s how we work. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real. We talk to folks about what they want to build and try to make sense of it on paper. Nagpur is growing fast and we see a lot of it happening around us in Pratap Nagar. It feels good to be right in the middle of it. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the drawings and measurements.
