Zaheeda Shaikh

I have my small place here at 404 Andheri East Rajshri Acord. Most of the time it is just me working through whatever tasks are on my desk for the day. Andheri East is always moving so fast, you can hear the trains and the traffic all the time from the window. I started doing this work because I wanted something of my own near where I stay. It is not a big corporate office with a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you are just meeting me. I spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people who stop in. Sometimes neighbors from the building pop their heads in just to say hello. The building itself is okay, typical for this part of Mumbai. I have some files stacked up and a small table where I keep my things organized. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the fan works well enough. I don't really do much advertising because most people who know me just come by word of mouth. It's a simple life running a business from an apartment under the name Zaheeda Shaikh. You have to keep track of everything yourself. I like the independence of it though. Some days are long and some are short, but I am usually here from the morning until it gets dark outside. It is just how things are done in this part of town.
