We’re located over in Morvi Lane, right near Chowpatty. Charno Road is always a bit hectic, but our spot is a bit more tucked away. It’s mostly just a workshop where we keep our supplies and work on different projects. We’ve been in this space for a long time. The floors are a bit uneven and there’s usually dust from whatever we’re making that day. It isn't a gallery or anything like that. It’s a place where we actually make things. We have benches pushed against the walls and shelves full of tools we’ve collected over the years. Some days it’s quiet and we just work, other days there are people coming in and out asking for things. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. We don’t have a big sign or anything fancy out front. Most people who come here already know the way. It’s a small team of us. We spend most of our hours here, sometimes late into the evening if a job needs finishing. We like being near the water, even if we don't always get out to see it. The building is old and has its quirks. Pipes rattle sometimes. We don't mind it. It’s just where we do our work. Nothing more to it than that. We just show up and start on the next thing. It’s a simple way to spend the day and it keeps us busy enough for now.
