Pragatti Art & Creation

Over in Borivali West, specifically in Mogra Village at number 702, you’ll find us at Pragatti Art & Creation. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s more of a small workshop where we spend our days making things. The village area has a different feel than the rest of Borivali, a bit slower maybe, which helps when you’re trying to focus on art. We started this because we wanted a space to work on our own terms. There are usually pieces of material and tools scattered around because we’re always in the middle of some project. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us with dusty hands or paint on our clothes. We aren't very good at the business side of things, like social media or fancy brochures. We just prefer to let the work speak for itself. It’s a quiet life here in Mogra Village, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners on the street. We help each other out when someone needs a tool or a bit of extra help moving something heavy. It’s not always easy to make a living this way, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We just take it one day at a time, making things that we think look okay and hoping others agree. It’s a simple, honest way to spend our time. We keep the doors open and just see what each day brings.
