Krishnam Arts

Our small shop is tucked away inside Mohammadi House on Dhobi Street. Krishnam Arts is at Shop No. 18 at the D-26 address. It is not a big gallery or a fancy art studio. It is more of a practical workspace where we keep all our supplies and work on whatever projects people have asked for. The street outside is usually very crowded with people and carts moving back and forth, so it can be quite a squeeze just to get to the door. Once you are inside, it gets a bit quieter, though we usually have some kind of project spread out over the main table. There are paintbrushes, frames, and materials leaning against the walls in most corners. It is honestly a bit messy, but that is just how we work. We do a lot of custom jobs for folks who stop by or give us a call. We are not trying to be world-famous; we just like making things that look decent and serve a purpose. The lighting in the back of the shop is not great, so we do the detailed work near the front window where the sun comes in. We have been at this location for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers in the building. Sometimes we just sit on a stool outside and watch the street when business is slow. We just keep making our art and taking orders.
