Wesevak Foundation

Wesevak Foundation has its office on the first floor of the Raghuleela Mega Mall in Kandivali West. We are in unit 118, which is tucked away behind the Poisar Depot. It is a bit unusual to have an office in a mall, but it actually works out really well for us. There is always a lot of activity and it is easy for people to find us. We have been here for a few years now. The office is small and filled with a lot of stuff we have collected over time. We have an old computer that still works and a few desks pushed together. It is not a very formal place. We often have music from the mall drifting in, which we have gotten used to. We are just a few people who wanted to do something useful for the Kandivali area. We do not have a big budget for fancy things, so we just use what we have. If we need to have a longer talk, we sometimes just go to one of the cafes downstairs. Being near the bus depot is helpful because we can travel to different parts of Mumbai easily. We do not have a big hierarchy here; everyone just does what needs to be done. Whether it is filing papers or going out to meet people, we all share the load. It is a busy but simple way to work.
