You can find our office over near the H. J. Doshi Ghatkopar Hindusabha Hospital. We’re on Shradhanand Road, which is usually packed with people and traffic throughout the day. Being so close to the hospital means we see a lot of folks going through a hard time. The Parisoha Foundation Pvt. Ltd. isn’t a massive organization with a lobby and a receptionist. We have a modest space where we sit and talk through our projects. It can get a bit loud with the street noise outside, but you get used to the sound of horns and vendors. We started this because we saw things in the neighborhood that needed fixing. It’s mostly just a few of us trying to coordinate help where it’s needed most. Sometimes the paperwork gets ahead of us, and the office looks a bit chaotic with files everywhere. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture because that money is better used elsewhere. We drink a lot of coffee and stay late quite often. It’s not glamorous work, and we don't try to make it sound like it is. It’s just about being there and doing what we can for the people who walk through our door. The hospital nearby is a constant reminder of why we stay in this spot. Shradhanand Road is our home base, and we’re quite happy being tucked away in this corner of Ghatkopar. We just do our best with what we have each day, without any fuss or fanfare.
