Our group is called Al Murtuza Multipurpose Education And Welfare Soc. We are located inside the Anjuman Iqra Urdu High School, specifically at number 362 in Kamla Raman Nagar. That’s in the Baiganwadi area of Govandi. It’s a pretty crowded spot near Furqaniya Chowk, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around. Being based in a school means we are always surrounded by kids and teachers, which keeps the energy up. We’ve been in Govandi for a good bit of time. It isn't the fanciest part of town, but it’s where we are needed. We don't have a separate corporate building; we just work out of the school premises. It makes sense for the kind of education and welfare stuff we handle. If you're looking for us, just ask for the Urdu High School near the chowk. Most of the rickshaw drivers know exactly where that is. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they have kids at the school. It’s a busy life here in Baiganwadi. We just try to keep the doors open and the programs running as best as we can with what we have. It’s not always easy, but we’re used to the hustle and bustle of Kamla Raman Nagar by now. That is just how it is for us every single day while we work.
