Hands For You Trust

We are located at Grace Villa in the Chickuwadi area, right behind Malwani Church in Malad West. It’s an old house that we’ve converted into a workspace for the Hands For You Trust. It still feels like a home in many ways, with the small kitchen and the tiled floors. We have turned the main living room into our office area with a few mismatched desks and chairs we’ve collected over the years. The front porch is a nice place to sit, but it gets a bit noisy when the church bells ring or when there’s a lot of traffic on the main road nearby. We have a small garden area that’s a bit overgrown because nobody has time to weed it. Inside, there are stacks of boxes everywhere filled with various things we need for our projects. The light switches are a bit finicky, you have to flick them just right to get them to stay on. We usually have a radio playing low in the background to keep things from being too quiet. It’s a busy neighborhood, and people are always dropping by to see what we are up to. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door just lets people in. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we manage to find what we need eventually. It’s just a group of us working out of a house, doing what we can every day.
