Vishok Welfare Foundation

Vishok Welfare Foundation is right in the middle of Borivali East, over in Mumbai City. We are in the Kanakia Samarpan Exotica building, specifically in room A1702. It’s a high-rise, so we’re way up there on the seventeenth floor. The location is right behind the Metro Wholesale, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us in this busy area. We’re also opposite the Magathane bus depot, so the Western Express Highway is right there next to us. You can always hear the sound of the traffic and the buses from downstairs even when the windows are shut. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai Maharashtra. Inside the office, it’s a bit more peaceful than the street. We have a good view of the city from up here. The space isn’t huge, but it’s enough for the four or five of us who are here regularly. We have our laptops and a big printer that jams occasionally and makes a lot of noise. Most of the day is spent handling requests and looking at spreadsheets for the foundation. Because we’re so close to the highway and the bus depot, it’s easy for us to get around, but the traffic can be a real nightmare in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We’ve been here for a bit now and have settled into a routine. It’s just a regular office in a big building. You just come up the lift and find us in A1702.
