Vior Foundation

Vior Foundation is tucked away in Rekhankit A Society, which is over in Koshi Nagar. We are right on the GPUR Road in Nagpur. It’s a residential society, so it’s much quieter than being right in the middle of a commercial district. The flat number is 8, and it’s a small place that we’ve made our own over the years. You have to go through the main gate of the society to find us, and sometimes the security guard asks where you're going. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which I think people appreciate. We have a few chairs for visitors and a desk where I keep all the folders and papers organized. Nagpur gets really hot in the summer, especially out on GPUR Road, so we spent a lot of time making sure the fans work well. There isn't any big sign outside on the street, just the number 8 on the door inside the society. We usually start our day early before the heat gets too bad. A lot of the work involves talking to people in the neighborhood and helping out with local issues. It’s very much a grassroots thing for us. We don’t have any fancy technology or a big reception desk. It’s just a room where we can sit down and talk about what needs to be done. Most of the people who come by are just folks from the society who know us.
