Vego Trading Company

Vego Trading Company is located in Shop Number 36 over at RNA Arcade. We are part of the Krystal Avenue Co-op Society on the 3rd Cross Lane in Lokhandwala Complex. If you know Andheri West, you know how busy this whole area gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is out walking. Our shop is not huge, but we make it work with what we have. We trade all sorts of things, and the inventory changes depending on what is available and what people are asking for that week. The arcade itself has been here for a long time, and you can see the age in the tiles and the way the stairs are worn down. We have a lot of regular people who just drop by to say hello or see what is new in the crates. The air conditioner in the shop makes a funny rattling noise, but it keeps the heat away, so we do not complain too much about it. Dealing with the traffic in Lokhandwala is probably the hardest part of the day, especially when we are trying to get deliveries in or out of the complex. We usually stay open quite late because that is when the neighborhood really wakes up. It is a lot of standing around and talking, but that is just the nature of trading in a place like this. We just keep at it and see what tomorrow brings.
